K-pop sensation BTS is one of the most popular boy bands in the world, with passionate fans all over the world. But, with their rising fame comes a responsibility: military service. All able-bodied South Korean men are required to serve in the military for a period of 21 months, and BTS is no exception. Here's a look at the military service schedule for each of the BTS members. 

RM

RM (formerly Rap Monster) is the leader of BTS and the first member to be enlisted. He has already completed his military service and was officially discharged on December 6th, 2020. 

 

Jin

Jin is the oldest member of BTS and is set to enlist in the military in 2021. He is due to enlist on December 11th, 2021 and his expected discharge date is October 9th, 2023. 

 

Suga

Suga is due to enlist on August 10th, 2021 and is expected to be discharged on June 7th, 2023. 

J-Hope

J-Hope is due to enlist on June 10th, 2022 and is expected to be discharged on April 5th, 2024. 

 

Jimin

Jimin is due to enlist on May 7th, 2021 and is expected to be discharged on March 4th, 2023. 

 

 V

V is due to enlist on August 19th, 2021 and is expected to be discharged on June 17th, 2023. 

 

Jungkook

Jungkook is the youngest member of BTS and is due to enlist on May 7th, 2026. He is expected to be discharged on March 4th, 2028.
